elvis sat in my comfy used hotel chair yesterday and i had no where to sit-angry and frustrated, i ran towards the big ol' oak door with the tarnished brass handle that was always so hard to open when i was a kid and effortlessly slammed it against the white chipped iron railing on the front porch-restless and listless i wandered purposefully towards the businesses in town and tried to make a speech on my behalf,
-elvis in in my comfy used hotel chair and i dont think hes got any intention of leaving any time soon....he's no king, but a sorry mooch and sloppy talker and, and and...his hair's all greasy with pomade and 'scurl, i complained, but no one would listen, too preoccupied with internal problems, i thought to myself, well my liver's turning green and my toenails are falling off, so there-and as i mosied on home it cam eupon me that i had to eat and soon, but i knew that if elvis had his way i would never be able to reach that point in my house where i could sit in my comfy used hotel chair and eat what i really wanted to and watch my favorite tv shows on MY television and listen to my songs on my cd played and make my comments to what the horrible actors should and should not be doing and how the directors are all queers with no pants on and how the producers of cds wish they were able to take their pants off but they're just getting their stings pulled along for the ride and that brian eno just isnt ever going to be the best producer no matter how hard he tries, too much being held back by roxy music and getting fuck'd in the butt by david bowie and well, elvid had once told me, well, the colonel was never really all that good a manager and he had a bad habit of kicking stuff that wasnt a foot tall, like boxes and little plants and sometimes shoes that were there on the floor, and who knows what else when i wasnt around, all with that snare that elvis used to put on when tv reporters were around, he really didnt talk like that you know.

have you been doing speed lately? that's how this piece seems to be flowing, like a speed freak is saying it. is that how i'm to read it? i especially liked "restless and listless i wandered purposefully toward the
businesses" i like the way it sounds when you say it out loud. but how can you wander purposefully? anyway, what the hell does it all mean? i like it

i mean just what the title suggests, its what happens when you get bored and feel like writing something but you have no aim or topic or idea to start with and you just start writing; it started with a kids in the hall episode where one of the characters wishes elvis was his landlord and what it would be like if elvis was his landlord. but on a whole it was just a lost piece of thought of my mind; as i always think, there's a novel in my mind and you are only getting the excerpts.
